Origin: The area of Kallmet and the surrounding villages, in a geographical longitude not further than 30 km from the location of the Kallmeti Canteen.
The cultivation of these grape varieties has been inherited thanks to the parishes and wine-producing families of the area, which have made these varieties famous in all historical eras. Unlike Kallmet red wine, there has been no real tradition in the production of white wine. Kallmet white grapes, although in modest quantities, have all been used for the production of brandy. In 2009, the Kallmet winery started the production of white wine as an experiment by carrying out the white vinification of the Kallmet black grape and mixing it with the two varieties. Since the result was very good, the winery continued the production of this wine in subsequent years. Year after year it is being liked by the consumer.
